Martin Luther King, Jr Dream Quilt

January 3, 2021 No Comments

“I Have a Dream” craft and bulletin board project for elementary students. Based upon the vision of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, this craft allows students to share their own visions for the world. Writing squares can be combined with graphic squares to create individual or class quilts.

Making the world a better place for everyone is just as important today as it was 50 years ago. Sadly our world is full of strive and conflict. Our young students are too aware of the problems that face our country and communities. So I wanted to provide students with an opportunity to share their vision for a better world.

Here are sample pages from the I Have a Dream Quilt resource.

This resource includes 16 different graphic squares, 2 different lined writing squares, and blank squares which can be customized with their own designs.

Thank-you for taking the time to read this post. Any of the pictures will take you to the product’s download page.
