Making Connections Form
Making Connections Form

Good readers think about the text and often make connections with the characters. I like to have a way to track my students’ thinking. One way I do this is with this Making Connections form. You can provide this form for your student to use while they are reading, or after reading. It can be used with guided reading groups, strategy groups, or individuals. As a blog reader, you can download a copy to use in your classroom!  Click here

You might also like my collection of reading strategy posters. Display these kid friendly posters as you introduce each comprehension strategy. The posters include a kid-friendly descriptor and adorable clip art to support the strategy.

This set includes 9 posters:
Creating Mental Images
Ask Questions
Determine What’s Important
Fixing-Up Strategies
Connections Text-to-Text
Connections Text-to-Self

This entire set is available at my Teachers Pay Teachers store. Click on any of the posters for the link.
